An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced diagnostic radiographer to join our Paediatric Radiography Team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and enthusiastic radiography team at a specialist Paediatric Hospital. We are a busy hospital, functioning as a Major Trauma centre and tertiary referral centre for the South West. We provide imaging across both inpatient, outpatient and Emergency services, including theatres and the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. This means we see a wide and varied cohort of patients, and everyday is different!
The department consists of two Philips Imaging rooms, one Canon Fluoroscopy room, one Canon Acquillion CT Scanner, 4 C-Arms and three DR portable imaging machines. As a Band 6 Radiographer you will participate in providing a high standard of imaging, rotating through general X-ray, theatre, fluoroscopy and CT, with opportunities to specialise into 4DCT, Cardiac CT, and forensic imaging.
The position is full time, including shift work.

A relocation package is available for this role, to assist with costs of moving to Bristol.
• To work as part of the radiographic team in delivering an efficient service in the Paediatric Radiology departments in both general x-ray and CT, adhering to departmental protocols and procedures.
• Participate in out of hours and shift work as necessary
• Demonstrate a high standard of expertise in radiographic technique, exhibiting good organisational skills.
• Supervising and teaching junior members of the team, including Band 5 Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and Apprentice/Student Radiographers as needed.
