About the role:
The Senior Service Support Officer will undertake a variety of administration duties to support project and programme managers, whilst working on various projects including the Early Help and Wellbeing Centre Programmes. These duties will include managing different forms of communication with the wider project office team, internal staff and a range of stakeholders; scheduling project meetings; minute taking and generally supporting with maintaining project related documentation.
About the Candidate:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a minimum of 4 years’ experience working within an administrative/local authority setting with an NVQ level 4 or above in Business Studies, or similar experience. The opportunity would suit someone who is methodical, with excellent planning and organisation skills; has good attention to detail and a high level of computer literacy. The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels throughout the authority and with internal and external stakeholders. The postholder will be required to work both flexibly and co-operatively to manage increased workloads and provide cover for other team members, to ensure that service priorities are met.
