Summary

Drayton Park Women's Crisis House offers women in acute crisis as alternative to hospital admission within a trauma informed model. Applicants need to be committed to providing women only services and show an understanding of why women need to use mental health services.

The post holders would be expected to lead shifts within this residential service and lead on the stay of a group of women. They would be expected to be skilled and compassionate in safety planning and demonstrate an ability to multitask and work in a fast pace service.

They would supervise junior staff and provide therapeutic one to one sessions and group activities.

The role required excellent written communication as referrals , assessments , NHS records are all included in this role.

They need to be resilient and robust to work within a service where women disclose and have experience past and current trauma.

Taking referrals, facilitating assessments, leading on a crisis stay for a group of women, supervising junior staff and taking responsibility for the service on a shift basis.

The partnership between Barnet,Enfieldand Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originallyestablishedin 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.
