Our team at Meallmore have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Head Housekeeper to our team in Ivybank House Care Home based in Polmont. We pride ourselves on our positive approach to care and have created a friendly, welcoming and happy home.
The housekeeping team works together to help maintain a warm and homely environment that supports us to meet the needs of our residents. You will play an integral role where you will be responsible for leading and supervising our housekeeping team and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control within the care home. This role will involve liaising with the Home Manager and managing the cleaning rota whilst adhering to company policies, Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
You will be fully supported through our colleague mentorship programme, developing the skills and knowledge to enable you to progress your career and reach your full potential.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience
Good understanding of COSHH and infection control guidelines
Excellent communication and record keeping skills
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of our team
Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise your daily duties
