What You'll Do:

• Identify Opportunities: Analyse current processes across the full range of Council services and identify areas for improvement to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Implement Solutions: Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions and best practices.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, build consensus, and drive change.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement to continuously enhance our processes.

What We're Looking For

The following requirements are essential to this role:
• Qualifications: Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Technology: You will need to be proficient in MS Office 365 inc. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and can demonstrate where you have used digital solutions to create efficiencies and improvements to processes.
• Experience: You will be able to demonstrate your experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives within a similar role and can articulate achievements.
• Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate, lead and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical Mindset: You will love problem-solving and have good analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Passion for Improvement: Above all you need enthusiasm for driving change and a commitment to delivering high-quality services to our community, evidenced through your achievements.
• Presentation Skills: You will have the ability to present to a wide audience and translate the technical in workable solutions to suit the audience.
• Location: Ability to work at our offices in Whitfield, Dover, Kent 3-4 days per week.

It would be great if you had the following, although these are not essential to this role:

• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
• Relevant experience in a public sector environment
• Experience of project management disciplines and principles.

• Full time permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. (Part time working of 29.6 hours (four days) will also be considered).
