Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or a strong team leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? I am seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a medium-sized residential care home located near Dover, with a well-regarded and rapidly growing care organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up in their career within the care sector. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the home provides exceptional care for residents, leading a committed team, and supporting the Manager in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the residential home, ensuring it operates smoothly and in accordance with regulatory standards.
Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver excellent person-centred care.
Support with the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring all individual needs are met.
Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
Contribute to maintaining and improving the home’s reputation and quality of service.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Deputy Manager within a care home or a strong team leader looking to take the next step in their career.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or above (required).
Dementia care knowledge is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach to care.
A full UK driving license and own transport are essential for this role.
