We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Clinical Coder to join our expanding Clinical Coding Team.

Applications from Accredited Clinical Coders only.

We would also be delighted to receive applications from ACC qualified Clinical Coders who live outside the geographical area of Derby & Burton who are interested in remote working.

Hours negotiable.

If you have relevant practical clinical coding experience and are competent using ICD10 and OPCS4.10 classifications we would love to hear from you, applications are invited from conscientious, adaptable, reliable and well-motivated individuals with a willingness to learn.

You will need to be a motivated individual with a positive approach to ensuring that Clinical Coding Rules & Conventions are adhered to and commissioning deadlines are met.

The recruitment process will involve a practical coding assessment.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to ensuring the clinical coding teams deliver a quality coding service across the organisation by providing accurate and timely clinical coding in accordance with national standards and requirements of clinical coding.

You will have excellent communication skills and confidence in your ability. A proactive approach to ensuring high standards of coded data is essential. You will have knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. You must be able to evidence your ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Confirmation of attendance at a Clinical Coding Standards Course will be required as would confirmation of attendance at a Clinical Coding Refresher Course if applicable.
