SOUTHERN SECURITY SERVICES LIMITED offers a wide range of modern security solutions in a friendly working environment. We are a busy security installation and maintenance provider based in the Bournemouth/Poole area, primarily operating in Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire, but willing to travel further when required. We are looking to expand our team of engineers by offering a position as a Security Engineer.
We seek candidates with knowledge in the installation, corrective, and preventative maintenance of any of the following disciplines. A keen attitude towards undertaking training in areas you may not yet be proficient in and a willingness to develop your skills within the security industry are essential:
Intruder Alarm Systems, mainly Texecom
CCTV Systems, mainly Dahua
Access Control Systems, mainly TDSi and Paxton
Video and Audio Entry Systems
Fire Alarm Systems
Gate and Door Automation
The new team member must have a full and clean driving license. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, based on a 40-hour week. The hourly rate will be dependent on experience. The role includes participation in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota, for which additional remuneration is paid. Southern Security Services Ltd operates the Government Nest pension scheme.
The new Security Engineer will be provided with a vehicle, tools, mobile phone, and company-branded clothing for company work. Any position offered will be subject to a satisfactory security screening process, including Police PNC and DBS checks.
