JOB ROLE:
Deliver personal care and support to clients, adhering to their individual care plans
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Aid clients with mobility and transfers, including the use of manual handling equipment
Prepare and assist with meal feeding as required
Administer medication according to care plans and medication policies
Observe and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the care manager or healthcare professionals
Participate in social activities and outings with clients, as outlined in their care plans
Keep accurate records of care services provided, including daily logs and medication records
Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure clients receive high-quality care
Follow health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of clients and colleagues
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in a care role is preferred but not required; comprehensive training to "Care Certificate" level will be provided
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative when necessary
A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to support and care for others
Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively
Willingness to participate in further training and development as needed
