Reporting into the Proposals Team Manager, the purpose of the Proposal Manager is the production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within procurement defined time frames, often working on multiple proposals simultaneously.

What you'll be doing;

  • Coordinate and produce written proposal (RFI, ITT, RFP) documentation in the pursuit of winning new and repeat business.
  • Involvement in the value proposition development and win strategy, owning the production and delivery of comprehensive proposals, including content writing, working with technical and commercial subject matter experts, external delivery partners, co-ordination of all aspects of the proposal to ensure all facets are included and coordinated, internal (governance) and external negotiation and agreement.
  • Working with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather the necessary information and ensure the proposal aligns with internal and external customers goals and objectives.
  • The role will work as part of the decommissioning proposals team to deliver multiple proposals to the required standard and timescales.



What we're looking for;

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of proposal writing best practices
  • Understanding of work winning procedures and processes
  • Ability to deliver full proposal solutions, coordinating with other contributors
  • Strong written English language skills
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing principles to effectively position offerings
  • Working knowledge of Google systems

Desirable:

  • Experience of working on tenders within the decommissioning, industrial or construction sectors with an understanding of the technical requirements
  • Experience working with graphic design packages
  • Project Management experience
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce CRM
