Applications are invited for a locum part-time Specialty Doctor post (1 day per week/ 0.2 wte) in Orthodontics to start at the earliest opportunity. The vacancy is available on Thursdays only. The post is based at the Eastman Dental Hospital (RNENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals) part of the Specialist Hospitals Board of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Successful applicants will join an established team in providing a wide range of orthodontic services, postgraduate training and research. Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills and experience in postgraduate teaching and training.
All candidates must be on the Specialist Register for Orthodontics.

This position is to support existing clinical service provision and training needs in a locum post to cover maternity leave; this is a fixed term post until 30 April 2025. The focus of the post will be Orthodontic clinical supervision, clinical training and teaching of trainee orthodontists.
As well as educating trainees with their knowledge and expertise in the field of orthodontics, they will be responsible for treatment being carried out safely, to a level appropriate of a specialist hospital and complying with clinical protocols.
A key component of the post will be communication with referring practitioners and close working with the consultant team to help drive the service to achieve the objectives of the department.

The Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals (RNENT & EDH)
The Division of the RNENT and EDH has an overall Divisional Clinical Director and Divisional Manager. There are three sub-divisions of surgery, medicine and dentistry, each with their own General Manger and Clinical Director.
The Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals are located in a recently constructed purpose-built clinical facility on Huntley Street in central London, which opened in October 2019. A number of joint clinics are undertaken in liaison with the other Directorates to optimise patient care.
