An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital is rehabilitation and recovery service, which offers a safe and supportive complex care facility for male and female patients with enduring mental health problems

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As the Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Deliver direct clinical care
• Manage, lead and coordinate the ward team and oversee nursing practice. You will ensure there are efficient and effective resources to deliver optimum quality care to our client group
• Take responsibility for proactively developing, implementing and reviewing clinical practices
• Contribute towards annual staffing and skill mix reviews
• Undertake supervision of staff
• Deputise in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services
• Complete on-call duties on a set rota

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a related operational and management role
• Able to demonstrate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment with 24 hours responsibility for staffing
• Able to participate with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care
• Able direct the delivery of clinical services within a unit, ensuring it complies with the statutory regulations, current legislation and meets the quality standards

The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,668 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week working from Monday to Friday. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
