Summary

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital is rehabilitation and recovery service, which offers a safe and supportive complex care facility for male and female patients with enduring mental health problems

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As the Deputy Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Assisting the Ward Manager in providing day to day management and supervision of the ward
• Assisting the Ward manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff
• Implementing best practice across the ward
• Support changes within the service
• Responsible for the clinical direction of the service
• Support the delivery of personalised care and contribute to service improvement

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a related operational role
• Able to demonstrate the ability to deliver and manage quality nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment
• Able to participate with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care
• Can direct the delivery of clinical services within a unit, ensuring it complies with the statutory regulations, current legislation and meets the quality standards
• To show a can-do attitude always

The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £41,475 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
