Crynodeb
Support the Health and Wellbeing Board to develop and embed and implement a 10-year joint health and wellbeing strategy and action plan. Lead the public health input to this strategy and embed local health intelligence, public health evidence and facilitate collaboration. Provide strategic leadership and vision for the implementation of the Health Promoting Council framework adopting a health in all policies approach to influence the wider determinants of health through settings, communities and place. Develop, coordinate and partner with internal and external colleagues to commission and deliver health improvement programmes, using public health intelligence including the JSNA to prioritise and deliver agreed shared outcomes. Support the Director and Deputy Director of Public Health with the day-to-day operations of the Public Health team including deputising and coordinating public health advice and support to other Council departments and external partners. Be a fully engaged and influential member of the Public Health Management Team and demonstrate flexibility in the delivery of the portfolio.
