to join us at an exciting time where you will have the opportunity to shape and develop an evolving new position, to:

Work in conjunction with the Civilian HR Policy and Reward team to ensure people resource policy change reflects business requirement and has the requisite process in place.
To include all RFA Pay and Allowance documents within the Policy Simplification Project and, following collaboration, update and share all pay and allowance policies and tools appropriately.
Create and communicate material for Commanding Officers, line managers and our Career Managers to train and support them to understand and effectively undertake first line HR action relating to pay and allowances. Specifically, to create and link policy documents and supporting posters to enable career managers and line managers to make policy-based decisions and provide Seafarers with accurate signposting to read and enact the policy for themselves.
To process, authorise, reject or escalate Miscellaneous claims and to undertake detailed investigations to resolve anomalies, complaints and complex cases.
Collaborate with SEO HR Compliance to produce and respond to accurate pay and allowance data including forecasting and identifying/planning/mitigating for any effect on our international capability.
To undertake the role of Investigation Officer to support Standards, Discipline, and Attendance actions
Proactively seek out ways to improve, digitise, automate and integrate our HR admin processes within an agile Whole Force Royal Navy
To facilitate a cohesive, shared service department by representing other team leaders and members as required.
