Grade 1 Fusion Analyst - EMEA
Job Overview:
As a Grade 1 Intelligence Analyst, you will play a senior role within the Fusion Operations Core Intelligence team, leading on threat-hunting to proactively identify flags that may impact Meta's people, assets and reputation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Leads with threat hunting for events or indicators of concerns that may have personal safety or business continuity ramifications with support from Grade 2 and 3 analysts
-Informs Partnerships and Operations Manager of any developing trends in the EMEA region, relevant to Global Security and Cross-Functional partners
-Issues intelligence briefings to key partners in Global Security and Cross-Functional stakeholder meetings
-Collates and produces concise, accurate, error-free texts to support individual projects
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional leads, Program leads and Regional GSOC Management team
-Provides cover for the Fusion Operations Manager and the Fusion Partnership Manager during travel, holidays and any unplanned absences.
-Ability to cover Mitie vendor tasks such as WP+ management & holiday requests.
Education Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (preferably Political Science, International Relations, International Security or cultural/social/regional studies) OR equivalent verifiable and demonstrable experience.
-Postgraduate study in a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
-Proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
Equivalent Verifiable and Demonstrable Experience
-Sustained exposure and familiarity with classical intelligence processes and methodologies preferred.
-Open Source Intelligence and/or research experience essential.
-Work and/or study experience across the region desirable
-Line management experience desirable
Skills
-Strong analytical skills with fast paced critical-thinking ability
-Excellent attention to detail
-Exemplary written and oral communication
-Confidence is dealing directly with senior management
-Team player with a proactive approach to independent workflows
-Able to receive direct feedback and respond effectively
-Excellent interpersonal and soft skills
-Time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues
-Highly proficient in using IT
-Knowledge and experience of working with the intelligence cycle
-Language skills highly desirable but not essential
-Notably: French, Spanish, German, Russian and Arabic
