We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to joint our growing engineering family.
Our Skilled Engineers are employed on work that is appropriate to their core and specialist skills. They will, however, be expected to have / acquire elements of other skills which will enable them to work flexibly across trades.
Suitable training and up-skilling - May be given, as and when required, to achieve competency and the ability to perform the following (as detailed in responsibilities).
Shift pattern: 12 hour shifts working 4 days on, 4 days off - 7:00am to 7:00pm
As part of the maintenance team, you will provide reactive and planned pro-active maintenance services for operational assets, covering electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines. This includes modifications, installations, and liaising with contractors. Your work will adhere to high-quality standards, legal requirements, and company policies. Additionally, you'll maximize equipment availability, offer technical support, and ensure safety and compliance. Provide a reactive and planned pro-active maintenance (PPM) service as per project requirements to all operational assets. We well require Flexibility in work hours to provide cover if required for holidays and sickness absence and participation in standby rota for emergency calls, outside normal working hours. Proactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager.
We are looking for experience of working within commercial/ industrial properties and installation. A Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role. The Ability to effectively prioritise own workload. A good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
The right candidate needs to have:
-City and Guilds 18th edition Preferable
-Critical environments experience preferable
Qualifications held in any of the below trades is desirable:
Gas:
-NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Maintenance
-COCN1 OR CODNCO1 (domestic to commercial changeover)- Desirable
-CORT1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1- Desirable
Air Conditioning:
-NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance- Desirable
-F Gas Qualification- Desirable
Electrical:
-NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship- Desirable
-2391-52 Testing and Inspection Qualification- Desirable
Plumbing:
-NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing- Desirable
