The Project Support Officer will provide essential support to the Programme in project administration and will support them in delivering new technology and processes in the clinical environment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential Good IT skills which include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good organisational skills. Good written & verbal communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative and to stringent deadlines. Ability to work with staff at all levels. Good interpersonal skills. Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams. Experience of working in a structured project environment. Desirable A knowledge/experience of working within an Information Technology environment Experience of training staff. Experience of working in a ward or other clinical environment. Experience of working within an acute Trust. Visio. Microsoft Project An understanding of the PRINCE2 Project Management methodology. The post holder will provide project support skills to the Programme, and project managers, as required, and assist with or lead aspects of the following: Ensure all project risks and issues are logged and monitored. Ensure project lessons are logged and reported. Administer aspects of the project Communication Plans. Provide support and training to clinical and administrative staff impacted by the change programme. Carry out benchmarking activities under the guidance of the Project Manager. Support the Programme with meeting administration. Contribute to training programme development & implementation. The post holder will often be occasionally required to work without supervision.
