We are recruiting for an experienced Reward Data & Insight Senior Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis as a maternity cover. You will be joining the Reward & Governance team, consisting of specialists in compensation, benefits, pensions, governance, and regulatory reward. We work closely with the wider People team as well as leaders across the entire organisation. Our core role is to deliver a reward strategy that will attract, retain, and recognise our colleagues, and we’re currently working on several innovative projects to develop and future-focus reward at Skipton – so now is an exciting time to join our team and really be part of something!

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Reward Data & Insight Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our reward strategy by leveraging data analytics and insights. Through the design and development of reward and governance data models, you will provide insightful, accurate and timely reward management information across all areas of responsibility to support decision making.

Working across the full range of Reward and Governance accountabilities you will find yourself involved in:

  • Delivering our annual pay review and bonus activities through Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Conducting market benchmarking analysis to provide external insight and help shape our reward framework.
  • Producing the annual regulatory Gender Pay Gap and CEO Pay Ratio reporting.
  • Supporting with benefits renewals and producing benefits and pensions MI.
  • Providing data outputs to be used in regulatory reporting requirements, including the Director Remuneration Report and Remuneration Policy Statements.

What Do We Need From You?

We are looking for someone who is both analytical and people focused, with the ability to interrogate and manipulate complex data and communicate this in a way that is easy to understand.

To be successful you will be a highly analytical, data driven individual who has worked within a role where you have drawn conclusions or made recommendations based on data insights. You will also be a true team player who is able to collaborate with the full Reward & Governance team and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will have excellent planning and organisation skills and experience of keeping a critical project on track, working flexibly to deliver to tight deadlines and effectively manage priorities. Advanced MS Excel skills and Workday (or Advanced Compensation) knowledge are essential, andideally you will have a background in reward and an understanding of reward frameworks and practices.
