The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a Research Development Officer.
The Opportunity:
The Centre for Electronic Frontiers (CEF) at the University of Edinburgh is accepting applications for an experienced Research Development Officer. The position will be based at the King’s Buildings Campus and will commence as soon as possible. The appointee will be part of a large interdisciplinary team led by Prof Themis Prodromakis, Regius Chair of Engineering and Director of the Centre for Electronics Frontiers.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Established track record of leading in competitive bid development in University or other relevant sector and bid project management experience.
Experience of needs assessment and planning within a relevant environment.
High degree of numeracy and experience of budgeting, costing, and option analysis in developing projects.
Ability to lead and develop teams in periods of change.
Excellent knowledge of appropriate IS platforms and software.
