Summary
Purchasing Data Analyst
£28,000 - £32,000 DOE
Permanent role
Primary Objectives:
Ensure that prices are kept up to date and accurate, deal with all aspects of the stock database including verifying new stock records and inactivating and re-sourcing obsolete ones.
Produce reports covering product data, including, but not limited to, pricing, sales, stock levels and replenishment.
Market research on pricing position, collating findings and implementing change based on evidence.
Support wider Purchasing team with other tasks, such as handling internal queries, processing acknowledgments, resolving discrepancies and maintaining compliance paperwork.
Support the Purchasing Manager in line with the company’s purchasing cost reduction strategy.
Core Duties:
Sharing best practice or identifying any areas of concern and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manipulate data in Excel to create files with clear pricing data. Maintain up to date system data for suppliers, lead time, due dates, batch sizes and cost pricing.
Administration support to purchasing team
