Key aims are: To deliver accessible patient centred services to the population of Havering, specifically via our Simple Wound Care, Spirometry and Access services. To support the service lead in all aspects of service delivery. To support the manager in aspects of Local Incentive Schemes, CQC and assurance evidence. Key Job Relationships: Patients HH Service(s) specific staff workforce PCNs x 5 (including Clinical Directors and PCN Manager) HH Clinical Leads HH bank staff Havering General Practices NHS 111, UTC, NELFT, BHRUT HH staff members Key Responsibilities To support in leading the delivery of primary care services and operational support to all HH services. To support HH bank staff. Assist in the day-to-day operational management of the service area, reporting to the line manager in all matters affecting the delivery of the service. Support collection of data about the service. Respond to day-to-day operational issues ensuring they are swiftly resolved, raising issues to the service lead. Establish and maintain good relationships and communication with the UTC, NHS 111 and local practices. Liaise with service specific reception and administrative staff and provide assistance where necessary. Support with patient/service surveys and audits. Support investigation of any Serious Untoward Incidents (SUI) or complaints. Promote a positive image of the services both externally and internally. Supporting rota management for service areas in RotaMaster and adding shifts to EMIS. Assisting with the stock control and ordering of consumables for service areas, ensuring sites fully stocked. This will include the delivery of said stock. Referral management into the primary care services. Managing and creating appointments on Wound Care on the 10to8 booking system. Supporting the training of staff on how to use the 10to8 booking system. Maintenance of HH record keeping logging complaints, incidents, compliments and any procedural changes. Assist the manager to provide support to practices in line with LIS scheme performance. Support the manager by monitoring CQC evidence records and obtaining and maintaining assurance documentation for Havering Health and hub sites. Assisting in the monthly reporting to various shareholders. Miscellaneous Work as part of the team to seek feedback, continually improve the service and contribute to business planning. Undertake any tasks consistent with the level of the post and the scope of the role, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely and effective manner. Duties may vary from time to time, without changing the general character of the post or the level of responsibility. Maintain awareness of and compliance with all relevant HH policies / guidelines / procedures, e.g. safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety; . Communication and Engagement: Maintain and improve communication across various teams within the services you lead, keeping your teams well engaged. To develop robust and sustainable working relationships with multiple external stakeholders across the borough. To work as a flexible member of the Federation, providing support to other team members when necessary. Personal/Professional Development: You will consistently look to improve what you do, look for successful tried and tested ways of working, and seek out innovation and support others to do the same. Contribute to the review and development of existing information management systems. The post holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the Federation as part of this employment, such training to include: - Participation in an annual individual performance review, including taking responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and/or professional development. - Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal hours, and off site.
