The Senior Graphic Designer will be the main designer working on DVSA’s flagship ‘Ready to Pass? campaign. The campaign encourages learners to assess their test readiness with their instructor using bespoke campaign resources. It also gives advice on how to make sure that their test goes ahead.

The successful role holder will create effective static and video content for 17 to 24 year olds, their parents and for driving instructors to support the Ready to Pass? campaign.
They will design content for a range of audiences and channels using evidence and insight. They will meeting creative briefs, stay on budget and work to challenging deadlines. They will understand the DVSA and Ready to Pass brand, using this to help set creative direction, and will champion good design practice within the campaign team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Using analytics, research evidence, insight and the right personas to make sure the information and advice people need is noticed and that it engages and helps them.
- Proficiently using Adobe Creative Cloud software to produce mock-ups for approval, discuss and take in comments, and provide and publish final graphic elements to communications, often to challenging deadlines.
- Delivering engaging solutions for a range of client needs, including animations, motion graphics, social media content, dynamic infographics, digital designs, display adverts and more.
- Working with communication colleagues, clients and stakeholders at all levels to discuss the business objectives and requirements of every job.
- Working to agreed deadlines and budgets, adhering to brand guidelines and relevant industry design standards and accessibility guidelines delivering excellent customer service, seeking to understand clients’ priorities and constraints and providing clear and timely communications.
