Secondment opportunities are available for part time and full time Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer (ACCIO) roles across CLCH. These roles promote the effective use of technology, data, information, knowledge and digital safety, to support and improve digital healthcare delivery aligned to the Trusts strategic plans.

The secondment holders will be working closely with the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), Digital Clinical Safety Officer (CSO) and the Divisional leads. to support the delivery of digital healthcare transformation and supporting the assessment and implementation of NHS standards for digital healthcare technology. As a part of this team you will be critical to the delivery of innovative, transformational, safe digital healthcare and digital leadership across CLCH; contributing to a better patient experience, quality integrated care with better health outcomes and digital empowerment of patients, staff and citizens.

We are looking for clinically qualified members of staff with an active registration with their clinical professional body, to work full time or part time positions closely with the assigned divisions and collaboratively with the CCIO office across the organisation.

Management and Leadership
• Working to agenda and activities as defined by the Executive Leadership Team, Directors of Operations, Deputy Directors of Operations, IMT directorate, Improvement and Transformation Office, Chief Clinical Information Officer, Divisional Transformation teams, Capita Partner services and in alignment with Trust digital strategy.
• Support the implementation, and optimise the use of, digital healthcare information systems within the Trust for the benefit of patients, nurses, doctors, allied health professionals and other multidisciplinary care providers such as GPs and Social Care providers.
• Hold responsibility for the divisional team(s) delivering programmes of work that contribute to ICS strategy, divisional transformation, centralised transformation and the CLCH digital strategy.
• Actively seek, promote, identify and evaluate digital and technology innovations where they add value and improve the service user and carer experience, and improve outcomes, process, staff productivity and satisfaction.
• Provide effective leadership input and support to the teams responsible for delivery within the remit of the post holder’s portfolio, including managing the people and resources associated with designated projects where required.
• Management and monitoring of digital clinical risk management plans for Health Information Technologies in line with mandated NHS Standards for the implementation of Healthcare Information Technology and the digital clinical safety framework in place within Trust.
