An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Provide as a Technology Support Analyst working within our Technology Systems Team. In this role, you will provide a mix of clinical system development work, support and training in SystmOne, our primary Electronic Patient Record System. You will also be required to support the continued maintenance of the organisations digital rostering system.

The successful candidate will be experienced in SystmOne or other similar EPR systems and will have experience is administrative use of a digital rostering system. The candidate will be an excellent communicator who can engage with our staff and stakeholders in a friendly, open manner and offer a professional and efficient service.

Main Duties:
• The post holder will be part of a small team responsible for supporting staff with queries and issues for the organisation's various systems
• The post holder will be responsible for training staff in the use of SystmOne and other relevant systems
• The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and support with Systmone and rostering system
• The post holder will work to ensure new system functionalities and updates are communicated to necessary staff

The post holder will work with internal teams and other stakeholders to assist with data quality issues

Key requirements:
• Experience of SystmOne or other similar healthcare record system.
• Experience of a digital rostering system
• Good knowledge of the latest IT technology and Microsoft office base software
• Knowledge and understanding of Registry Agent process or principles
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of data protection principles
• Ability to travel to various sites
• Ability to prioritise own workload

Core Requirements
• Promotes and assists in the implementation of procedures designed to attain and maintain compliance of the ISO27001 (BS7799) and other relevant IT standards. This will involve following and suggesting improvements to Information security processes that ensure compliance and accreditation with IT security best practice
• Logging problems with national and local helpdesks and managing to satisfactory conclusion.
• Providing user support on the Service Desk, ensuring all calls are logged and resolved or passed to a senior member of the team.
• Updating the staff intranet.
• Creating training and information materials
• Participating in Change Advisory Boards, making suggestions on improved ways of working.
• Organising, booking and running Training Sessions.
• Assisting in audits.
• Acting as a first point of contact for customers and staff, dealing with telephone calls to the department, transferring them in a timely manner and taking messages.
• Placing orders and processing of invoices.
• Production of articles for inclusion in weekly and monthly communications to staff.
• Organise meetings on behalf of others
• Keep up to date with national guidance and Provide policies, highlighting any required changes to the department’s manager.
• Maintaining user IT accounts and system rights.
• Ensuring recording of all work in line with the organisations procedures, ensuring all work is appropriately approved and authorised through the change control processes.
• Routinely checking data held on configuration items and ensuring this is kept up to date and all identified gaps are rectified.

Systems Speciality
• Creating and assisting users with clinical template design.
• Making agreed updates to clinical systems configuration, under the guidance of a senior member of the team.
• Expert knowledge of national coding structures such as SNOMED or Read Code.
• Delivering system training to end users.
• Expert knowledge of SystmOne or other similar systems.
• Expert knowledge of digital rostering systems

RA Speciality
• Provision of the RA service that will include issuing new and replacement cards, revoking access and ensuring documentation is completed, including identity checks.
• Provide training and support to sponsors and users of smartcards on how to complete RA paper work, unlock cards and re-issue certificates.
• Ensure adequate stocks of smartcards and consumables are maintained.

Technology Speciality
• Provision of specialist knowledge of desktop applications and operating systems.
• Management and delivery of technical solutions which involves:
• Analysis and interpretation of faults, using judgement as to the appropriate corrective actions.
• Producing specifications for required items of equipment
• Receipting, installation and configuration of equipment
• Liaison with multiple technical teams, manufacturers and 3rdparties to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.
• To ensure deployments of new equipment meets the organisations standards and procedures.
• Handling the collecting and issuing of IT equipment, ensuring that all procedures are followed, this could include updating of the Configuration Management Data Base and issuing receipts.
• Ensuring databases are kept up to date and maintained to a high quality, this will include the Configuration Management Data Base
• Making modifications and repairs to IT software, hardware and code.
