Summary
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service is a busy patient facing support service for patients and visitors based on site in Kingston Hospital. It provides advice and support to people with concerns and queries relating to the Trust. The Bereavement Service's main role is to guide people through the administration processes that need to happen when someone dies in the hospital.

We are looking for a professional and experienced Senior PALS and Bereavement Officer to support the existing team of Officers. You will work with the PALS and Bereavement Manager to develop the service. and, whilst there is no line management aspect to the role, you will be able to offer guidance and expertise to the team, build broader working relationships with Trust wide managers and assist with the more complex cases.
You will be motivated and resilient ,with experience of customer service and managing challenging situations and behaviour. The ideal candidate would also have excellent communication skills, a calm approach in times of pressure, working knowledge of the NHS and good IT skills.
