Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Roads Operations team within the Infrastructure & Environment Department. The post is based at Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells with homeworking also available.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Roads Operations managers and wider teams. This includes the management and implementation of systems and processes for effective data gathering to enable performance reporting and data led decision making.

You will be self-motivated and educated to HNC/HND level in either Business Management or Civil Engineering OR have equivalent experience, knowledge and skills necessary to undertake the role.

You will have a sound knowledge of IT systems, with experience in data gathering, analysis and reporting.

You will be an excellent communicator, a team player, as well as being able to work on your own initiative.

You will have the ability to respond to tight deadlines and adapt and motivate staff in times of change.

Essential

Educated to HNC/HND level in a relevant discipline or evidence of comparable experience and training.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
