Position Overview:
The Production Floor Assistant will play a vital role in the daily operations of our sea moss gel production line. This position involves supporting the production team with various tasks to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of our sea moss gel products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about natural health products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring all machinery is clean and functioning properly.
- Monitor production processes and perform quality control checks to ensure the highest product quality.
- Package finished products, including labeling and sealing containers accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing raw materials and finished products.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Support other production-related tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
-This position requires working in a production environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
