We are looking for an early career researcher to be part of our EU Horizon/UKRI funded research project Gender Empowerment through Politics in Classrooms (G-EPIC) Gender Empowerment Through Politics in the Classroom | G-EPIC. The applicant would support the principal investigator, Professor Bryony Hoskins, by supporting and evaluating school-based and teacher-led interventions and experiments that have been designed to increase disadvantaged girls’ confidence in their political voice and to undertake wider research within this research project.

We are looking for a motivated researcher who has recently completed or just about to complete their PhD in a relevant field with a good knowledge of quantitative research methods and in particular experimental design and a good knowledge of developing education materials. We are interested in applicants with experience of working with teachers, schools, and citizenship stakeholders. This position is available from the beginning of September and is on a fixed term contract until February 2026.
