The Assistant Apprenticeship Officer is a key role within the department and will provide effective administrative support while gaining an understanding of the Apprenticeship Officers and how they manage and expand client relationships and oversee the delivery of vocational qualifications. This role is designed to bridge the gap between administrative support and direct apprenticeship coordination. As the Assistant Apprenticeship Officer you will have an overview of the delivery of vocational qualifications.
Responsible for delivering administrative support and learning to manage relationships with external companies, clients, and trainees. The Assistant Apprenticeship Officer will assist in the processing of financial documents and claims related to Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and other funding bodies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Applicants should have experience of delivering compliant administration and learning documentation, following standard operating procedures and practice with particular attention to detail. Applicants should have some knowledge of work based learning qualifications, frameworks and awarding body structures. As well as excellent communication skills, they need to have the ability to make sound judgment and be responsive to critical deadlines.
