Position Overview:

ICare Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our domiciliary care branches and extra care facilities within the designated region. The Regional Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring we provide an efficient delivery of high-quality care services to our clients by effectively managing and supporting our team of registered care managers.



Key Responsibilities:


Supervise, provide guidance, lead, and develop a team of registered care managers across multiple domiciliary and extra care branches.
Ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures governing domiciliary care services.
Collaborate and work in partnership with the Head of Care, and the Senior Management Team to develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the region in alignment with the overall company goals.
Monitor the performance of the Registered Care Manager (and their team) to ensure key metrics are met such as recruitment, client satisfaction, quality, staff retention, and financial performance.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the quality-of-care delivery and identify areas for improvement with the support of our external auditors.
Provide leadership, support, coaching and mentoring to Registered Care Managers in areas such as quality care, managing employees, staff training and development, client assessments, and care planning.
Act as a liaison and build relationship between the regional branches and HR, Finance, IT, Recruitment, contracts and commissioning, Senior Management, and local authority, facilitating communication and ensuring the effective distribution of information.
Address any issues or concerns raised by clients, their families, or staff members in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the regional team.
Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting domiciliary and extra care services, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance and quality of care.

Qualifications and Skills:


Proven experience in a senior management role within the healthcare or social care sector, with a focus on domiciliary care services and extra care facilities.
Proven track record of successfully managing multi-site operations and leading teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Exceptional knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements and standards relevant to domiciliary care services.
Strong leadership, communication, IT, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
Commitment to delivering high-quality care services and promoting the well-being of clients.
Good knowledge of IT systems including industry led digital software.
Flexibility to travel within the region and to head office as required.
