NorseCare, part of the Norse Group are Norfolk's largest Care provider, delivering our services to a number of sites across the county. We support the dedicated service our operational teams provide with exceptional office support.
We currently have the exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator to join our busy team on-site at Linden Court in Watton on a permanent, part-time basis working 22.5 hours per week, Mon-Wed 09:00-17:00.
As Business Administrator you will be primarily responsible for providing a professional, efficient service for all enquiries, either from private clients or via local authority referrals alongside managing all associated correspondence to ensure a smooth admission process into the home and accurate recording of all admission/discharge residents' data.
You will support the Care Home with efficient administration which aids the smooth running of the home and contributes to the high level of care delivered, this will include;
- Providing guidance and support to the Home Managers with regards to rota management, ensuring staff levels are appropriate to deliver the level of care expected
- Collating and processing payroll information, including completing weekly/monthly returns
- Undertaking purchase ledger responsibilities
- Processing HR documentation and supporting the compliance requirements for new staff
- Maintaining & reconciling a petty cash account and other cash-based accounts in line with the NorseCare policy
- Provide generalist clerical and administrative support for the home as appropriate including daily reception duties
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade C (or Level 4) or above in three core subjects including Maths and English
- Extensive experience within an administrative role or customer service driven environment
- Good understanding of Microsoft office including use of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent timekeeping and ability to meet deadlines
