Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to fill the role of Personal Fitness Coordinator. This unique position encompasses the responsibilities of a gym instructor, swimming instructor, and chef/cook, providing a holistic approach to fitness and wellness for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Responsibilities:

Gym Instruction (Llantrisant Leisure Centre):
- Conduct individual and group fitness sessions tailored to clients' needs and goals.
- Design and implement personalized workout plans, incorporating strength training, cardio, and flexibility exercises.
- Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their fitness routines as needed.

Swimming Instruction (Llantrisant Leisure Centre):
- Teach swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- Assess swimmers' abilities and provide instruction on stroke techniques, water safety, and endurance training.
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans that promote skill development and confidence in the water.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants during swimming sessions.

Chef/Cook (Efail Isaf, Pontypridd):
- Prepare nutritious and delicious meals tailored to clients' dietary preferences and fitness goals.
- Plan menus that prioritise healthy ingredients and balanced nutrition.
- Demonstrate culinary skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.

Client Interaction:
- Build rapport with clients and establish positive relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Provide ongoing support and encouragement to help clients achieve their fitness and wellness objectives.
- Offer guidance on lifestyle habits, including nutrition, hydration, and recovery strategies.

Schedule Flexibility:
- Work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate clients' availability.
- Manage scheduling conflicts and ensure smooth coordination of appointments and sessions.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a gym instructor, swimming instructor, and chef/cook preferred.
- Certification in fitness instruction, swimming instruction, and/or culinary arts highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated passion for health, fitness, and wellness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs.
