Summary
This role will provide high quality and full support to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, Chief People and Inclusion Officer and Executive Group Finance Director. The role will occasionally provide responsive support to other senior colleagues within the Finance and HR teams as required.
The post-holder will act as the main point of contact between the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, Chief People and Inclusion Officer and Executive Group Finance Director and key internal and external stakeholders. This includes anticipating requirements for information, papers and meetings and following up on outstanding actions to ensure all deadlines are met. The Executive Personal Assistant will work proactively and collaboratively to co-ordinate internal and external information-sharing processes to underpin a responsive service to their Executive members.
We are looking for an individual who is methodical, approachable and professional. This individual must be proactive and responsive in a fast-paced environment. The post-holder should be equally adept at working unaided or as part of a close-knit team. This role allows the individual to use their excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, whilst navigating a large, complex organisation to deliver tasks effectively and efficiently.
This is a full-time, secondment opportunity for maternity cover. We anticipate the cover to be between 12 to 14 months, or upon return of the post-holder.
The University is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work from the USW campuses (mainly Treforest campus) for part of the week.
