THE COMPANY

Our client is a local business based in Cannock who are experiencing a period of growth. They are looking to add a Credit Controller to their team to cover a busy period.

THE ROLE
• Report to the Credit Manager
• Responsible for a large ledger of live accounts
• Chase payments from customers
• Handle all queries on invoices.
• Raise invoices, manage debit, and credit notes.
• Allocate cash and reconcile petty cash.
• Deal with complex customers, requiring a good eye for detail.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, ranging from small to large companies.
• Perform general ad hoc administrative duties, including credit checking and opening new accounts.

REQUIREMENTS
• 2-3 years of experience in a credit control role with full ownership of a ledger of accounts
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Credit department, including court letters
• Committed, hardworking, and a good communicator.
• Ability to work well within an established team.
• Capable of working with little supervision
• Experience in prioritising a heavy, demanding workload.
