Assistant HR Business Partner (Band 6)Manchester Royal Infirmary

Part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) is a major university teaching hospital and specialist centre, as well as a provider of adult acute services. Some 4,000 staff, 35 wards and 18 operating theatres, provide for 180,000 A&E attendances, over 300,000 outpatient attendances and over 80,000 inpatients/day cases per year.

This patient-centred ‘hospital without walls’ has been built around a group of standardised Clinical Service Units (CSUs) that strip away traditional hierarchies and boundaries into a flatter structure. Empowered clinical leadership teams work within an accountability framework enabling decision-making closer to the patient. You could be part of our continuing transformation.

The Manchester University NHS Foundation vision is to improve the health and quality of life of our diverse population by building an organisation that:
• Excels in quality, safety, patient experience, research, innovation and teaching
• Attracts, develops and retains great people
• Is recognised internationally as a leading healthcare provider

To take responsibility for a designated portfolio of corporate work that supports the delivery of the overall HR Strategy.

To deputise for the HR Business Partner as required.

To liaise with other HR colleagues to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed and to facilitate cross-cover of HR services.
