Warehouse Manager - The Role
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience of managing a warehouse and team, who understands the importance of day-to-day accuracy and efficiency, as well as understanding longer term strategy and goals setting.

* Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* Have excellent health and safety knowledge within a warehouse environment.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Have the ability to explore / investigate queries and issues and work collaboratively to reach solutions, building strong working relationships with colleagues.
* Have experience of managing a team, driving employee engagement through structured communication, feedback, training, and performance review.
* Work as part of a management team, inputting in regular meetings and adding value to the business.
* Develop and present insightful data that can help drive decision making to the benefit of the warehouse function and business, working with other managers where necessary.
* A valid driving licence is required.
* Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods and updating inventory records accordingly.
* Ensure SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) are in place for relevant procedures across the department, and that these are communicated and updated as necessary.
* Add items to the stock list as they arrive / are confirmed by the head office team to go on the list, ensuring all product information added is correct. Ensure items are fully working/clean and the stock list is maintained accurately.
* Proactively manage the company fleet, ensuring all vehicles are regularly serviced and receive an MOT.
* Ensuring weekly driver checks are completed and recorded, and that any issues identified are rectified accordingly.

Skills, Knowledge and Communication
* Good IT Skills
* The ability to lead conversations with team members, giving feedback, instruction and addressing issues.
* Strong understanding of delivering excellent customer service and supporting team members to do so.
* A Full UK Driving Licence.
* Eligible to live and work in the UK.
Desirable
* Good knowledge of UK Geography.
* Previous experience in a majority driving role.
* Experience in assembling furniture and dealing with any trouble shooting issues as they arise.
Why work for us..
The salary range for this role is £35,000 to £42,000 per annum dependant on experience. A monthly non-contractual bonus is also available, meaning earning potential of up to £45,600 per annum.
Working hours are usually between 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to manage any needs that arise outside of these times.
20 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, rising by one day per year up to 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays

After successful completion of their probationary period the successful candidate will be eligible to receive the Bupa Cash Plan benefit.
