Governors are seeking to appoint an innovative and inspirational Deputy Headteacher that is an outstanding practitioner committed to developing teaching and learning of the highest quality. Someone who is committed to
ensuring that the school provides the best opportunities for all our learners.

• We are a well-established right’s respecting school and proud of our school’s ethos and commitment to uphold its values.
• We currently hold a Siarter Iaith bronze award and well on the way to a silver award.
• We are proud to house a Special Needs Resource Base for Language and Communication Difficulties providing support to pupils and ensuring their integration into the daily life of the school.
• Ystruth Primary School serves the community of Blaina and is within travelling distance of the M4 corridor and the Heads of the Valleys road to the North.
