Our successful and collaborative Pricing Team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join us and support with forecasting future pricing trends, developing pricing models and ultimately contribute to the strategic direction of the business.

You will be responsible for taking economic and market data and combining this with your own research and portfolio analysis to forecast remarketing trends, identify emerging challenges, and recommend a variety of mitigating strategies while being able to outline the potential risks and rewards of each.

We also have a hybrid working model whereby colleagues work a minimum of one day in the Milton Keynes office. Flexibility is expected, you can also work in the office more if you'd prefer.

What you will be doing:

  • You will collate economic, market and portfolio analysis to understand underlying, developing, and likely future trends that will affect remarketing strategy and vehicle pricing
  • Developing Management Information (MI) to inform the remarketing process and for distribution to senior stakeholders across the business using MS Excel, Tableau and other analytical systems as appropriate
  • You will take ownership of pricing model monitoring & development work, including responsibility to maintain, adapt, and develop the remarketing pricing model to achieve greater accuracy
  • Identifying emerging challenges from the portfolio and wider market, and recommend actions to mitigate those
  • Supporting the pricing process through provision of analysis and insight to inform key decisions
  • You will manage Remarketing data flows between systems and departments and be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders for additional data requests
  • Providing insightful commentary to give context to observations and developing trends, bringing together a developed understanding of remarketing processes

This is what you will bring to the role:

  • You will have proven experience using Microsoft Excel and Tableau
  • Solid commercial experience of the automotive finance industry
  • You can demonstrate your analytical skills and creative thought processes
  • Ability to own tasks and manage concurrent operational requirements with varying deadlines
  • You are self-motivated and adaptable to change with excellent organisational skills and initiative
  • Proven ability to translate high level ideas into deliverable concepts
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills that can engage and influence the audience whilst being able to respond to opposing views at all levels
  • High attention to detail, quality, consistency and accuracy
