Summary
PWP Group are searching for a looking for a strategically-minded Analytics Platform Lead. This role sits at the intersection of technology and function – designed for someone who thrives in transformation environments and is passionate about enabling data-driven teams.
This is not a pure architecture role. It’s for someone who can bridge technology and analytics, leading the selection, configuration, and onboarding of a new analytics experimentation environment.
The Key Responsibilities of a Analyst Programmer:
Lead the selection, configuration, and onboarding of an analytics experimentation platform (3 agile sprints, ~6 weeks each).
Act as the interface between the CTO engineering team and the functional analytics leads.
Collaborate with data analysts, identifying current pain points and long-term platform needs.
Navigate approvals, compliance, access, and onboarding across a complex tech environment.
Champion change and innovation in analytics platforms.
Relay technical decisions and platform rationale clearly to both engineering stakeholders and business users.
The successful candidate will have :-
Java Programmer, Java, SQL, SQL Server.
Building web applications towards Microsoft SQL Server.
Trigger Store Procedures from Web Application.
Application Logging including Audit Logs (preferably with SQL table as target). Experience of enabling SSO (Windows Authentication) in web application to enable filtering of data based on end username.
Securing application using SSL.
Worked with Responsive web design. CI/CD experience (build portable code that is easy to deploy in higher environments without manual steps).
Working with code version management tools such as Git and Sourcetree. Experience of working with JIRA and JUnit.
Coding Languages and Tools Java Java Development Kit (JDK) Eclipse T-SQL SQL Server Management Studio.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Degree in Computing Science or a related subject.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills.
Based on 37.5 hours per week. 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. 30 mins unpaid lunch. Statutory UK holidays.
