Are you a skilled MIS professional with a passion for data analytics? Do you have skills in Power BI, Excel, with a strong understanding of school data systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

About the Role:

As an MIS Consultant at SIPS IT Services, you will support and maintain all MIS systems, providing expert consultancy to schools and trusts on how MIS and IT-based services can enhance their development strategies. Your role will be pivotal in developing our data services, delivering training to stakeholders, ensuring up-to-date documentation, and collaborating with MIS providers to stay ahead of new functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead support and training for all accredited MIS systems. Provide consultancy services to schools on leveraging MIS for strategic development. Analytical analysis and reporting, of a range of data requirements, across all customers Assist schools with DFE and LA statutory return requirements. Develop and update content for internal and customer knowledge bases. Mentor junior team members and collaborate across SIPS departments. Evaluate new MIS software and provide feedback to providers. Support schools in safeguarding through MIS software. Manage independent projects and facilitate MIS migrations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong expertise in data analytics, including Power BI and Excel is highly desirable. Proficient in understanding and managing school data systems. Excellent communication and consultancy skills. Experience in delivering training and creating clear documentation. Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with teams. Knowledge of current regulations and legislation relevant to school MIS.
