Join us as a Technology Project Manager
- We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead the end to end definition and implementation of Technology change on the bank's production systems
- You’ll be accountable for delivering an infrastructure solution design which is fully compliant with platform standards and in-line with business requirements
- Using your technical project management skills, you’ll have a positive impact on the future of our bank
What you'll do
This role will see you leading end to end definition and implementation of change to agreed standards and the resolution of architecture or design related issues, facilitating infrastructure solution decisions across multiple technology teams and stakeholders. This will include managing solution options analysis and technology risks assessments across impacted Technology platforms.
Throughout the project lifecycle, you’ll be securing and managing technology subject matter expert resource and providing them with technical oversight, and qualitative guidance.
Your role will also involve:
- Defining and managing the Technology schedule of events, and posting change related activities, to make sure that change is executed in accordance with platform standards
- Following Technology change management process, to make sure that change is introduced into the production environment in a safe and secure way
- Managing relationships between infrastructure, project and technical stakeholders
- Tracking and reporting project benefits and managing any impacts to the benefit plan
- Overseeing the identification and mitigation of risk in infrastructure delivery
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need an understanding of technology architecture and the bank’s technology environment and platforms. You’ll also need a Project Management or Agile certification. It’s essential that you have experience of using Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies, as well as Waterfall methods where required. You'll also need to be solution and service oriented, demonstrating ownership and leadership skills.
You’ll also need:
- An understanding of the enterprise risk management framework
- Proven change management experience, including experience of using ServiceNow
- Detailed knowledge and experience in the project lifecycle within the financial sector
- Strong interest and technical understanding of the banks IT infrastructure landscape
- Experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Planview and Oracle OBIE
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
