Crynodeb

Due to new contracts we now require additional Evening Parking Enforcement Officers to assist with monitoring car parks throughout the North East. You will be required to patrol car parks throughout the region using a Parking Group patrol vehicle. The role is full time working 40 hours over 5 days starting at 15.00 to 23.00. Flexibility is a must and so weeks you may work weekends and evenings. Do not apply if you are unable to commit to the above.

What will you do within this role?

Patrol car parks within the North East and monitor parking terms and conditions, issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCN) to vehicles that have breached the terms and conditions of parking. Report any health and safety issues to the Head of Enforcement. Assist members of the public should they require within the car parks. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant regulations, codes of practice and always adhering to these.

Requirements

Requirement to work weekdays, weekends and evenings. You must be flexible to meet the company needs. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO SPENNYMOOR FOR THE START OF EACH SHIFT TO COLLECT COMPANY VEHICLE. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS.

40 hours per week over 5 days

Full clean uniform must be always worn, which will be provided. If you leave this position within the first 3 months (probation period) you will be charged for the uniform as parking attendants uniform is made to measure. You must be of smart appearance when in full uniform, no trainers. You must wear black boots or all black walking shoes as you will be on your feet for long periods of time when on shift.

Must provide a professional and friendly point of contact for all visitors to the sites.

This position is based on a 3-month probationary period at the end of which if probation has been passed you will be offered a full-time position.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided, however previous history as a parking attendant / enforcement officer would be an advantage, as would experience of dealing with the public in difficult situations.
