Workspace Support Assistant - Grade D

Description
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Workspace Support Assistant to join our team in Plymouth. As a workspace support assistant in the Government Administration industry, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations, including maintaining office supplies, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and assisting with documentation and record-keeping tasks. You will also provide assistance with document formatting, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed. Additionally, you will interact with clients and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the office.

The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for drafting and proofreading documents and emails. You should also have a basic understanding of office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities
Assist with general office duties, including answering phones, managing mail, and greeting visitors
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments
Assist with document preparation, including formatting, proofreading, and editing
Provide administrative support to team members as needed
Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
Proven experience in an administrative role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
