Mango Solutions are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for our clients new Children’s Home in Tyseley, Birmingham
The successful candidate will lead and manage the Ofsted registered children’s home consistent with the approach and ethos of the organisation
Previous experience working as a registered manager required - alternatively deputy managers looking for a step up in career
Main responsibilities and duties:
Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance
Ensure that children have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs and wellbeing
Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans
Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development
Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively
Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners
Experience and qualifications:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willing to work towards)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in children’s residential
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in children’s residential in supervisory/management role
