We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working person to work in our ophthalmology theatres (SN). You must be a registered nurse and an excellent communicator as you will have everyday contact with multi-professional colleagues where results and positive achievements will be crucial. Exceptional personal and organisational qualities are key attributes in this role. The ability to supervise and coach staff will also be necessary, as will a focus to delivering the highest standards of care and service to our patients.

• To establish, lead and maintain high standards of pre/ peri and post-operative clinical care.
• To coordinate clinical activities and develop clinical expertise through leadership.
• To undertake teaching and training of both trained and untrained staff
• To develop management skills and undertake management duties as directed by the Senior Sister
• Participate on-call for the unit.
