Liverpool Community Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services provide therapy and rehabilitation in patients homes. This post is specifically to work with people with a Neurological condition across Liverpool.

We aim to promote independence and improve quality of life for people with Neurological impairments.

We’re looking for a Therapy Assistant/Assistant Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team across Liverpool. If you’re motivated, with therapy experience and skills, a passion to be part of this developing service, and share our aim for perfect care, we’d like to hear from you.

The role is static within the Neurological Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team and involves providing a city-wide service to patients in their own homes. We want you to develop your specific neurological skills in this new, excting and dynamic role. If this interests you, come and join our fantastic team.

We’re a very supportive team with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and work within the wider Liverpool Community Therapy services.

Act as an advocate and champion for clients.

Support clinical staff in managing long term conditions.

Lead on health promotion activities as required.

Undertake clinical tasks, following patient specific direction.

Communicate effectively with patients and carers recognising the need for alternative methods of communication to overcome different levels of understanding, cultural background and preferred ways of communicating.

Participate in individual clinical supervision.

Participate in audit as required by the organisation.

Undertake all relevant mandatory training.
