Our Mayflower ward is seeking a Ward Clerk/ Administrator on a permanent part time (26 hour) basis. The Ward Administrator is a key member of the ward team and is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative, I.T. and clerical support.

This includes maintaining computer and paper-based patient records, data input regarding staffing rosters and recording of leave, preparing ward paperwork and the coordination of many of the ward’s activities.







To be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, and efficient administrative service to the wards; enabling the delivery of a high quality service to the patients and allowing medical and nursing staff to focus on direct patient care.

This will involve considerable liaison with other departments and wards.
