Our Homes business serves communities by providing trusted housing management solutions. We take a collaborative and commercially minded, yet socially principled approach across our portfolio of Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties.

The National Accommodation Management Services (NAMS) contract for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) went live in April 2022, providing housing management services to 49,000 homes and the military families who live in them. It is one part of the set of contracts that together form DIO’s FDIS (Future Defence Infrastructure Services) Accommodation contracts.

The Role - Contract Development Lead

The Contract Development Lead performs a central coordinating role for the senior leadership team on this, the company’s flagship contract. Maintaining an overview of key priorities and deliverables across the team, you will ensure that we consistently deliver intelligent solutions on time and to a high standard. You will be a strong and effective communicator with a point of view you’re prepared to share, a natural problem solver and comfortable working at pace. You will have strong resonance with our vision, mission and values, and a high degree of empathy with military families. Your positive solutions-focused approach will bring value and energy to the team.

The contract is delivered nationally, the right candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel to the National Service Centre in Liverpool and the Group's Head Office in London.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the contract Senior Leadership Team (SLT) overseeing priorities, actions and deliverables arising from client meetings as well as managing the team’s collective priorities.
• Act as the SLT’s conscience and organiser – ensuring that actions are captured and followed through, that thoughts are prepared ahead of meetings, briefing notes provided and data requested and collated such that the we put our best foot forward in external meetings.
• Work closely with the performance team to ensure that the team is producing data and insights that contribute to the SLT’s priorities and client enquiries.
• Support delivery of the operational improvement plan, including impact assessments, training, communications and engagement.
• Develop strong business partnerships with other internal departments and our external partners.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the contract and how we operate to deliver our strategy and other business priorities.
• Retain a strong conceptual overview of the FDIS vision and Pinnacle’s role in the contract structure, ensuring clarity on our responsibilities, as well as our families first commitment.
• Bring a new perspective to initiatives, challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to do things better/cheaper/faster.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies to swift resolution.
• Produce high quality material including presentations, training materials and written communication
• Facilitate workshops with impacted stakeholders at all levels at pinnacle and our industry partners
• Work with SLT colleagues to innovate and implement change, combining strategic and analytical perspectives with a pragmatic approach.

Required Skills

• Self-awareness and understanding your impact, so that all stakeholders know what they need to do and why it needs to be done.
• Resilient and positive in a demanding and changing environment, with the capacity to deliver results to tight deadlines and under pressure.
