Job Title: Account Manager for Merchants Asset Management

Salary: Market Rate

Reporting To: Head of Asset Management

Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday



Your role:



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join our team at The Pallet LOOP.



This role will be responsible for LOOP asset productivity and the relationships with the LOOP end users in the Merchant sector.




As a start-up, the role will be wide in variety, both internal and customer facing. From building policies & procedures through to
hiring and creating a high performing team that can ensure high levels of pallet return through to implementing operating
frameworks with strategic pallet users in the Merchant sector.




You’ll be accountable for the asset productivity of the LOOP pool coming from the Merchant sector - including Loss, Cycle Time and
Damage. Constantly working in partnership with the LOOP operations team and third parties.




Keeping Merchant end users engaged and driving pallet returns. Looking for Merchants to advocate the use of LOOP pallets. The
increasing levels of pallet returns from Merchants will be the key KPI.




You’ll need the personal skills, attributes and motivation suited to coaching and enabling in a busy, changing environment,
including influencing, flexibility, patience, empathy, courage, and confidence.




This role will be an integral member of the LOOP team from the outset. Not only will you be responsible for delivery of key
merchant sector initiatives, but you’ll also help shape the LOOP business for the years to come, from strategy through to
fostering an inclusive culture for all.




Key Accountabilities:

* Implement asset recovery strategy and return rates versus LOOP asset productivity targets. A dynamic plan that evolves as LOOP
grows.
* Implement end user account management process with a measurement of advocacy.
* Develop an asset productivity team ethos.
* Delivery of Asset Productivity MI reporting for Merchants and account advocacy objectives to the leadership team, with
suggested actions/course correction as needed.
* Member of the LOOP leadership team to deliver all LOOP objectives (internal and external, fundamentally across people, planet,
and profit)



Skills/Knowledge:

* In depth understanding of asset management practises and customer account management
* Working with budgets and development of yearly budgets
* The personal skills, attributes and motivation suited to coaching and enabling in a busy, changing environment, including
influencing, flexibility, patience, empathy, courage, and confidence.
* Excellent communication skills for a variety of stakeholders is essential, with the ability to communicate a vision and bring
people on a change journey, winning over any detractors.
* Active interest in the circular economy
* Strong communication/listening skills.
